"have you had a client yet?" "has someone come?" "nobody came??"all our very well meaning friends, family and supporters have asked the question... and it is a legitimate question... has anyone come.....
you should have a look into our prayer box: there are all our volunteer's names, Dr. Morgenthaler, and there are our clients...
those are the names of women that have had abortions, both women we already know, and others we haven't met yet , but friends of people that have come and gotten our brochures to give to them ..girls that are pregnant... that have been given our information, their Youth leaders and teachers trying to convince them to come.....
we are thanking God each day for those clients.. we know that He brought them to our attention and that He has plans.. for them.. for us... the "good works He has planned in advance for us to do"....
every day so far someone has come to the center.... someone we could show and tell what we are all about... someone who has some connections to someone out there that needs Jesus...
in our prayer meeting yesterday we talked about what it means to be successful as a Christian..
and this is what I found this morning:
“Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:7-9
So I would say, with the Lord's help we are striving to be just that...
and so He is faithful:
meeting with the "Ministerial" of Georgetown, this is a group of all the pastors of this town, on Wednesday to present our ministry... Hallelujah!!
brochures and posters delivered to the Ministerial meeting in Acton, ( on the same day....) so that the churches already can put it up for their congregation.. meeting with them for their next available meeting.
Post Abortion Counseling training scheduled for November 18
Volunteer Training Session to start in January
24 / 7 Hotline in place
transportation services for clients announced on website
I think this makes for a successful week at Hope for Life Pregnancy Care Center....
Trust and obey... for there is no other way... to be SUCCESSFUL in Jesus... but to trust and obey!!!
